Watercolour and ink on tea-stained paper.
I was intrigued by the body postures adopted by individuals in the dance industry. In this study of three distinct positions, I connected them using a string of pearls, symbolizing the bond between dancers in motion upon a stage. The intricate poses presented their own challenges, and I discover that I'm drawn to painting subjects that inherently test my abilities, as opposed to safer, more conventional themes.
