A comment on the process of ageing. This double portrait is painted in watercolour and white ink on tea stained watercolour paper.
Having recently celebrated a big birthday the idea of not quite recognising your image in the mirror resonated strongly. I tried to inject a little humour into the situation with the quirkiness of the expressions.
