Watercolour and ink with a mono-printed acrylic background.
I wanted to highlight the contrast between the face and the clothing, so I opted for a predominantly silver background with a hint of gold. While the original scarf had different colours, I modified them to give a warm glow and create a more striking contrast.
The Hook for this piece is the drama created by the rich dark colours in the head scarf against the face which is full of light.
