A little "Eastern Bluebird", inspired by a photograph by American wildlife photographer Mark Lurther. Birds aren’t usually my favourite subjects to paint, but there was something about this little chap that caught my attention—perhaps because his shape and character reminded me of our much-loved British robin.
A small and colourful study, presented in a off white double mount, ready for framing.
