"Bear & Me" is a one-off original pastel artwork inspired by a beautiful photograph taken by a friend of her little girl while on holiday. There was something about the quiet simplicity of the moment that stayed with me and the innocence, the stillness, and the sense of pure childhood joy.
Created in soft pastels, I loved working into the gentle textures and tones of the image, letting it build slowly as the scene came to life. I was especially drawn to the emotional connection between Lola and her teddy bear, held close as she stood in the shallow waters, completely lost in her own little world.
