Inspired by the cult film Legend, this work explores the psychology of dual power and moral erosion.
The composition is deliberately divided into two opposing yet inseparable forces — one dark, the other even darker — reflecting the coexistence of charisma and brutality within the same myth.
Through the use of newspaper fragments, layered collage, and oil paint, the surface becomes a metaphor for constructed narratives: media-built legends, public fascination, and the thin line between notoriety and admiration.
The figures appear monumental yet unstable, suspended between control and collapse.
DOUBLE DARK is not a portrait of individuals, but a study of dominance, ego, and the seductive nature of violence — a reminder that darkness rarely exists alone, and often multiplies when reflected.
