SUPREME is a contemporary mixed-media portrait exploring the construction of status, visibility, and cultural authority within modern media. Painted in oil on layered newspaper and enriched with collage and gold leaf, the work transforms a globally recognised figure into a symbol of power and presence beyond individual identity.
The newspaper surface references fashion publishing, public narratives, and image consumption, while gold leaf introduces a visual language of luxury and elevation. The figure stands poised between vulnerability and dominance, embodying the tension between exposure and control inherent to public image.
