I'm an award-winning* Dorset-Based Plein Air Painter, and Printmaker. Check out more of my artwork on @tommarshallart on Instagram or www.facebook.com/tommarshallart. Much of my outdoor work is on paper, in such things as pen and ink, watercolour and pastels, but back home I also combine intaglio work with oil-paint on copper, brass and aluminium, and make small-scale 3D wire drawings. I work in an unusually-wide range of materials, with both traditional and experimental (but low-tech, non-digital) techniques. You could summarise much of it with the title of my first ever solo show: Birds and Beaches, Streets and People- but story is also at the heart of my work.
