This Green Man began life as a life class model. I worked on the unfinished drawing after the class and added watercolour washes which by chance became predominantly green. Perhaps influenced by the Dryad legend It seemed that I had created their male counterpoint. The addition of a horse chestnut type spiral tree trunk finished the job.
