"Going Home" depicts an old gentleman making his way home, walking with the aid of a stick on a hot Spanish summer afternoon through the streets of his village.I painted this artwork after returning from a holiday in Spain in 1972.I had taken a trip away from the coast to catch a glimpse of the "real Spain"I can't remember the name of the village, but do remember the church bell ringing out for the Angelus, which was so lovely.
