"Friars Crag Derwent Water ,Cumbria" is painted on canvas board with acrylics , with a satin varnish to protect and enhance colours.The English Lake District is one of the loveliest areas in the whole of England, bursting with spectacular mountains and fells, beautiful lakes like Windermere and Grasmere glittering in the sun (when it shines).This painting is a view of Friars Crag on the shores of Derwent Water a lovely spot to view Derwent Water itself and the surrounding fells , and only a short walk from the charming market town of Keswick, where I was based in the 60’s when I was a photographer on a local evening paper.The dimensions given for the artwork includes the wood frame.The artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity .
