BLUE – The Geometry of Colour
BLUE is an original textured mixed media painting and the fourth artwork from my THE GEOMETRY OF COLOUR series.

This series explores the relationship between colour, geometry and texture. In BLUE, a strong blue geometric form becomes the focal point against layers of grey, neutral, gold and black elements.
The painting was built through multiple layers of texture, colour, shading and hand-painted details. Geometric forms, circles, expressive marks and imperfect surfaces create depth and movement across the composition.
From a distance, BLUE has a bold and graphic presence. Up close, the textured surface reveals subtle colour changes, shadows, rough areas, small marks and details created by hand.
The combination of blue, grey, black, gold and neutral tones gives the painting a cooler, more atmospheric character while maintaining the strong visual language of the series.
