YELLOW – The Geometry of Colour.
YELLOW is an original textured mixed media painting and the third artwork from my THE GEOMETRY OF COLOUR series.

This series explores the relationship between colour, geometry and texture. In YELLOW, warm yellow geometric forms are placed against black and neutral elements, creating a strong contrast across the layered textured surface.
The painting was created through multiple layers of texture, colour, shading and hand-painted details. Geometric circles and forms interact with expressive marks and imperfect surfaces, creating a balance between structure and the raw character of mixed media painting.
From a distance, YELLOW feels graphic and distinctive. As you move closer, the textured surface reveals more — subtle colour variations, shadows, rough areas, small marks and details created throughout the painting process.
The combination of yellow, black, grey and warm neutral tones makes this contemporary geometric wall art a strong addition to modern, minimalist, eclectic, Japandi and neutral interiors.
I wanted YELLOW to bring colour into a space while keeping the sophisticated, tactile character of textured mixed media art.
