Walking along from Hell Bay on Bryher I came across this sculpture of large pebblestones stacked on log piles. There was no indication as to who started this or why but so interesting to come across. I painted the subject from my photographs of such a lovely place. Well worth a visit. Several years on I revisited Bryher last year but unfortunately could not find the stones due to shortage of time but did manage to find the artist`s cottages I also painted as companion set and listed on this site.
