The cottages of the title belong to a local Bryher artist who rents them out. A man was digging bait when I arrived so I quickly photographed the scene and completed the painting at home. The Isles of Scilly are a wonderful place to visit and its people very welcoming. Wherever you walk the sea is not far away or the clashing of waves on rocks thunder at Hells Bay. This painting can be paired with my painting Popplestone Bay a matching size. Framed with washed wood frame unglazed.
