I now live in Oxfordshire although I was born in Trinidad,  brought up in Bahrain, and lived most of my life in other countries around the world.  I've had a passion for drawing and painting forever. It's usually the drama of brilliant tropical light and shade which excites me, together with the African bush, unusual perspectives, and the intense feelings of heat, color and beauty. Since moving to England some years ago I've exhibited in many local venues such as Art of Africa, the Sycamore Gallery, the Cotswold Art Exhibition, Carterton Lions, exhibitions in Woodstock and Charlbury, and by invitation at a large invitational exhibition in Shropshire, "Memories". I am an active Oxfordshire Artweeks member and have participated in their exhibitions for many years.  I have paintings in Canada, Eastern and Western USA, South Africa and the UK.  I've also been lucky enough to appear in PORTFOLIO, a publication about Dartington Hall School Artists.  I'm currently experimenting with local scenes and English colours but find it difficult to leave the Tropical colors and light behind.
