When I created this painting, I was emerging from a collaboration that had begun with excitement and trust, but slowly turned into a space where boundaries blurred and the joy of creating was overshadowed by emotional weight. Stepping away felt like both a loss and a release. The dark, chipped sunflower in the foreground carries that story.
This painting became a way of reclaiming peace — of watching the field, breathing again, and remembering that even when something breaks or fades, beauty and renewal always remain present in the world.
