I’m a multidisciplinary artist and designer originally from Transylvania and now based in St Albans. My work is rooted in the rich cultural and natural heritage I grew up with, folklore, dramatic landscapes, and quiet symbolism continue to shape both my art and design practice.
I studied oil painting and ceramic design at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Cluj-Napoca, and today I divide my creative energy between fine art and fashion. I design ladies’ footwear, handbags, and accessories, pieces that combine traditional craftsmanship with contemporary form and function.
Since rekindling my love for oil painting, I’ve returned to canvas as my primary medium, drawn by its flexibility and ability to evoke light, texture, and emotion. I’m a member of the St Albans Art Society, where I was honoured with the Edward Bevin Cup in 2024. My work was also included on the extended longlist of the Jackson’s Art Prize, which marked a proud moment in my ongoing journey as an artist.
My work has been exhibited internationally for over three decades. From early personal shows in Romania and Hungary to major international design fairs like GAFA Cologne and AMBIENTE Frankfurt, I’ve explored both fine art and functional design across borders and mediums. My ceramic works have been shown at the Etruscan Museum in Italy, and my paintings have been exhibited in Bucharest, Spain, UK and beyond. More recently, I’ve taken part in the Ayot Art Show and the St Albans Art Society Summer Exhibitions (2023–2025).
