My painting captures her haunting presence at Cornwall’s Dark Gathering: a bridge between myth and modern days, life and death, past and present.
Rooted in Welsh tradition, the Mari Lwyd is a ghostly figure, decorated horse skull , who now takes centre stage in this Cornish celebration of Samhain and Celtic seasonal rites.
