Paris 2022. I saw this lady, leaning against the window of a bank. People further along, just outside the canvas, selling crap to tourists. Being passed by beautiful young people starving themselves, and no doubt spending hundreds of euros, to stay thin. She was reflected in the grubby windows, wedged into a corner where the weeds grew and detritus gathered.
Acrylic using grisaille method, on canvas. Mounted in black floating frame 56 x 56cm.
