I am Doug Cameron, a Yorkshire based artist and pet portrait painter. In my varied subjects from pets, nature and landscapes through to racing cars, probably the one common aim is to create atmosphere and visual impact. I have used many media but recently concentrated on pastels.
My career in IT took me away from art for many years, but inspiration from family and seeing so much wonderful online work brought me back to pick up the brushes.
I always welcome commissions, it still never fails to surprise how pleased people can be when they receive a new picture.
