This is a watercolour on 320g/m2 based on a couplebof photos I took when we went to see our middle daughter, who lives there. I got a "Cannon Ae1" SLR, 35 mm negative camera (which I still have, so fond of it!) for my 18th birthday.... I had a dark room in my bathroom for a while, worked as a photographic printer for a year, on nights, great fun, printing photos for estate agents...before "the digit" changed the world. Anyway, to me, painting photo's is fantastic , as is "au plein air"... It is all part of the creative process. Watercolour is a bit like printing a photo. As you move the developer over the paper, the image appears like magic and sometimes you have to quickly stop it before it gets too dark and dunk it into the next tray...then wait nervously to see it in daylight to see if you made the right call! Watercolour is a bit like that, my last painting, I was a bit heavy handed on a tree....
Anyway, sorry to wax lyrical again. I tried to catch the light on the wet sand at dusk. Please allow two weeks for a glicee copy. I keep the copyright.
