This was a private commission, painted using Derwent Inktense pencils and pigments. It represents the guitar of my client's husband and a pair of green headed tanagers whcih are South American songbirds, as he plays a lot of Latin-American music. It required the use of several reference photographs to make the composition and to get the birds in the poses I wanted.
