A leopard resting in the undergrowth, blending in perfectly. I wanted to achieve a sharpness to the face of the animal but the markings of the body becoming part of the patterns formed by shadows and plants as they faded out towards the edge of the painting. I love to paint big cats and this one was such fun to do.
