'Halo' captures the vibrant town centre of St. Albans during early spring. The scene highlights the iconic marketplace with its charming architecture, and the Abbey in the background bathed in a radiant, blinding sun. I used golden tones and textured brushstrokes to create a glowing halo effect, emphasising the unique frosty light that transforms the cityscape into something almost ethereal. The contrast between warm yellows and cool greens adds depth, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the tranquil yet lively atmosphere of this historic centre. It's my way of portraying the seasonal warmth and architectural grace that make St. Albans so special.
