My Chandelier was a lesson in perseverance, inspired by a recent trip to Dresden, specifically a discovery at the Zwinger Palace.
I aimed to capture the passage of time through the depth of multiple layers of transparent blues. The flickering of lights is accentuated with 22-23 karat gold highlights, which illuminate the canvas differently as daylight changes.
