“Luise von Fruthwilen“
Luise, a lady from Fruthwilen, grandmother of my wife.
I met her when I first came to Switzerland 42 years ago.
She received me without any reservation, doubts or boundaries. Her warmth and friendliness still remains in my memory to this day.
I worked from a photograph that I took one late afternoon walking with her on her farm, she seemed to personify Mother Nature herself.
