The colours of autumn as depicted in this piece are warm, rich, earthy and gold. This is a scene from the gardens of the Royal Horticultural Society in the UK. We can see a gazebo in the background in the style of a Japanese pagoda. The vibrant colours of autumn are seen even more enriched in the reflections on the water. However, the sky and the gazebo in the background and the clear water in the fore ground gives the scene a harmony.
