I am a portrait painter based in Oxfordshire. I work in oils in a bold figurative style with fluid brushwork and a strong use of colour and tone. I always show attention to detail and pride myself that I can get a likeness of anyone who sits for me.
I am equally happy capturing the intimate atmosphere of a cafe or the fleeting changes of a busy town scene. I paint what I encounter. I have put on local one man shows and am also a member of Oxford Art Society where I regularly exhibit. When not painting I teach art and have a BA Hons in Professional Studies in Education.
