Born in Taunton Somerset 1952,self taught amature artist.Met a friend in France who i hadn't seen for many years that i went caving with who was an artist in Cheddar. He saw me doing some drawing and encouraged to persist with it as i was only drawing to kill some time. He introduced me to ISSA,International Speleological society for Art, a group of cavers and artists that produce art work in many forms and media of caves. I took up the challenge. It can be very hard to get to some places underground but the bueaty of it is that you are going to places that not many other people get to see only on film or photo's. To sit in a passage and start to sketch in dark, still surrondings you start to see the bueaty of the formations and the shape of the rock around you plus ypu don'tget many people looking over your shoulder.I have exhibited in caving conventions and Wells Museum and once over in America
