I've been a professional artist and designer all my life and it was as a student I received my first paid work, from an American publication, Downbeat Jazz magazine.
The Daily Telegraph in a review of one of my exhibitions in Manchester described me as an artist with a penchant for the strange beauty of Gothic architecture. and my interest in architecture led to landscapes with a dramatic, theatrical atmosphere.
The drama of live performance also fascinates me. I enjoy drawing the actors rehearsing and portraying the mechanics of theatre is very rewarding for me.
