I am a hobby artist retired from a career in education. I have worked in watercolour and especially in pastels for a long time, but recently have been experimenting with colour pencils. I like to draw contempoary realistic still-life, figures and portraits, enjoying the challenge of striving for realism without it looking too photographic.
