I had an amazing childhood in Shetland , where I lived until I was 17 . I love the wild open spaces, the changing colours, the closeness to the sea, the incredible beaches and the sense of freedom.
I then left to study Maths Physics, Geology and dabbled in Archeology at Glasgow Uni and graduated with a Bsc Hons in Geology. After nearly 20 years working with Shell as a seismologist in many countries around the world, I now have a gorgeous husband and three wonderful children. We are now back in Scotland and although I have done a few classes in the past I am now picking up my paintbrushes with avengence.
I have always been inspired by seascapes, fishermens cottages , coastal scene and boats of all types. I also love portraiture. I plan to fill up the portfoloio over the next few days. Please drop me a line if you have any comments on my work.
