I was born in Doncaster In 1980, I have always been passionate about art and nature, I can remember drawing from bird books when I was very young and I guess I just carried on.
I went on to study Illustration at Doncaster College, and later Scientific and Natural History Illustration at Blackpool and Flyde College, earning a BA(hons) from Lancaster University.
As a wildlife artist I have been selected for 'The National Exhibition Of Wildlife Art In 2010', shortlisted and highly commended at 'The David Shepherd Wildlife Artist Of The Year 2011,' I have also recently been selected as a runner-up In the 'Endagered Species' category of the 'BBC Wildlife Artist Of The Year 2012' for my painting 'At Rest.' The competition was the biggest ever with 1200 entries, with the best work including 'At Rest' will be published In the August edition of BBC Wildlife Magazine.
