I create illuminated pages using gold leaf and, as far as is possible, traditional pigments. Some of the designs are contemporary, some inspired by beautiful medieval manuscripts. I also paint wildlife in acrylic.

I am a member of the Fine Art Trade guild and won the Art and Framing Industry award for 'Best Depiction of the Natural World' in 2014 for work with gold leaf and pigments that was considered to be 'delicate, fascinating and original'. Finalist in the international search for David Shepherd's Wildlife Artist of the Year 2012, I have also exhibited with the Society of Women Artists and the Royal Scociety of Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers in London.

I teach medieval manuscript illumination skills, beginner and intermediate acrylic painting, pen and ink, charcoal and pastel painting.
