I am 30 years old and have been drawing all my life. As a child, we always had lots of pets and animals were always a large part of my life and so my art generally tended to reflect that. I have dabbled in Tolkien inspired art but ended up going back to animals again in the end.
At secondary school, I started doing my first few private commissions and have been doing that since then. I have always had another part time job but would like to make enough from my art to live off someday.
I have always admired realistic work and have strived for realism myself throughout my life and continue to do so.
I like to portray the spirit and character of the animals I paint and create a little frozen moment in time the way I saw it.
