Having studied Fine Art at the Slade School, Susie earned her living as a magazine and partworks editor for 11 years, specialising in cookery and crafts, before going freelance in 1996.
Since then, she has written and illustrated books on a variety of creative subjects, and has had features and interviews published in a wide range of magazines. For 10 years, she made most of the papier maché models for Art Attack magazine.
Susie is a qualified teacher, running drawing and painting classes at Bexley Adult Education college, near her home in Greenwich. She also has plenty of experience running workshops in watercolours, 3D Design and crafts including crochet and knitting.
