I am a Northamptonshire artist based in beautiful Eydon. I work in a variety of media, mainly acrylic, pastel, watercolour and pyrography. Animal portraits are one of the subjects I'm best known for and, as an animal lover, I really enjoy this area of work.
I originally trained as a teacher at Homerton college, Cambridge and run adult painting and drawing classes and life classes in Litchborough, Middleton Cheney and Daventry. I run Art holidays in France too (see website)
I am particularly interested in wildlife and the environment and, as well as looking at British subjects, have travelled in South America, Scandinavia, China, Europe, and to both Antarctica and the Arctic with my sketchbook and camera. I run workshops for art groups and talk to WIs and photographic groups about my travels and enjoy the interaction with people.
