‘’a beautiful sunshine like a flower
I want to hold it, it's my desire
Fresh, charming and peaceful
It comes everyday with a new shower..’’
This painting is one of my peony series which is inspired by the love for flowers and nature. One morning , I saw beautiful golden sunshine falling on the flowers in my garden. It feels like my garden is wearing golden jewels. Thinking of that I started my peony and gave the color palate a yellow and golden theme. It's textured with thick layers of paints and I have used splashes , drips and strokes of brushes here and there to give a visual effect. It's a mixed media with a semi realistic approach.
