Sharon Rogers, lives with her husband and one lively Welsh Springer Spaniel in the small Wiltshire village of Pitton, where she has made her name as a successful local watercolourist. She has participated in numerous local exhibitions, including Odstock Hospital and the City Hall; and her work has been included in the Royal Society of Marine Artists? annual exhibition in London.
Born in South Africa, she has lived in locations as diverse as Zambia, Northumberland, the small South Atlantic island of St Helena; and continues to travel extensively. Her travels have influenced her painting, much of which is inspired by experiences in England, France, Italy, Spain, Greece, Africa and the Caribbean
Sharon?s style can best be described as ?representational? (although at times an essence of ?abstract? is revealed) and her preferred medium is watercolour. Her subjects include landscapes, marine/seascapes and floral art. She also teaches watercolour and undertakes commissions.
