I am based in the tiny cathedral town of Truro in the heart of Cornwall, just twenty minutes drive from both the north and south coast, so when I’m not painting in my studio in an old warehouse by the river, you can often find me in quiet coves amongst the Cornish cliffs, sketching and painting, or just soaking up the silence….
I have a passion for teaching and passing on my unique skills. I’d describe myself as having warm personality; good humour and artistic vintage style. My workshops are always great fun, and provide a supportive space for intensive learning. I firmly believe that anyone can be taught to draw and paint competently, given good tuition, patience and practise. The development of genius may take a little longer!
