I studied interior design in the UK and the US and graduated with honours from Parsons School of Design, New York. My first-born child was diagnosed with severe and complex autism which led me to abandon my career plans to focus all my energies on his needs. I cared and taught him at home.
While caring I published a book – No Matter What - to help and support other parents of children with autism through my experience. After 24 years of being a full-time carer, I have found a new freedom to pursue my passion for art and painting
