Sandra Penstone-Smith

I have recently stepped up my commitment to making art having "doodled" my way through the last 30 years since leaving school and the possibility of an "artistic" career behind me. I started painting pet portraits in oils a few years ago and dabbled in lino printmaking. I recently took two online courses run by the wonderful Louise Fletcher and Karen Stamper which have made me realise that being an artist is a voyage of constant discovery. I'm currently using more collage and acrylic in my mixed media explorations and continue to be drawn (ha) to the changing seasons in the countryside and wild areas where the landscape and flora have taken over.
