I'm an artist and illustrator living in Sheffield. Educated at Plymouth Art College (Foundation Course in Art) the University of Portsmouth, (B.A. Hons Cultural Studies) and The London College of Art (Painting and Drawing).
Following a career in the legal advice and charity sector, I have returned to my first love, art (now with illustration too), full time, as my true vocation and profession.
My initial training was in fine art back in the 80s. I work in traditional methods with paper, pens, paint and pencils. I do also utilise modern computer based tools to enhance my images. As I've returned to the illustration and art field only recently, my eyes have been opened to how much has changed and developed, I am rapidly developing my skills beyond the pens and pencils to show it in the best light on the screen.
I have produced several pieces of illustration that have been published in Amelia's Magazine, and Creaturemag, aswell as blogs such as The Beauty Regime
My work has also been featured in Urbanity, a magazine profiling new and emerging talent, and Balladof magazine.
This has been a great learning experience and I have found that I love both editorial and fashion illustration, and working to deadlines and briefs.
