Paul has worked in North Yorkshire for over 30 years specialising in his own unique interpretation of the varied and inspiring landscapes which abound in the region. He works mainly in oils, acrylic and pastels from drawings done on site. He trained at Bath Academy of Art and, together with his artist wife Anne (Thornhill), ran his own exibition gallery and studio (The Grosmont Gallery) for 21 years. Having given up the gallery in order to concentrate more on his painting, Paul now lives and works at his farmhouse in Aislaby.
