My first memory is of sitting on the floor before the fire with a sheet of paper and a pencil in my hand. I now have a purpose-built studio in my garden in Shropshire, UK, where I now spend most of my time with my dogs and hundreds of pencils. Animals have always been my passion and my favourite subject to draw. Coloured pencils are my favourite medium, although I began my artistic life with pen and ink, only progressing to using colour in recent years. I take pet portrait commissions as well as drawing wildlife and have sold my art internationally and in local art exhibitions and galleries. I have had three drawings published in Ann Kulberg's Color Pencil magazines and an illustrated tutorial in her DRAW Dogs book. Also a drawing published in Leisure Painter and The Artist magazines.
