A powerful four-panel sculptural wall piece assembled into a symmetrical, face-like composition of weathered, earth-toned forms. Each segment is hand-sculpted with deep, rugged texture, marked by visible tooling, subtle cracks, and a patina of burnt sienna, ash grey, charcoal, and warm amber that evokes aged stone or fired clay. Two curved negative spaces open like eyes, gazing outward with quiet intensity, while the irregular edges and hand-hewn surfaces lend a primal, timeless quality. The dark background amplifies the work’s grounded, monumental presence—balancing abstraction with an unmistakable, haunting human resonance. It speaks to endurance, silent watchfulness, and the enduring spirit of ancient things, rendered with raw, unpolished authenticity.
