Mieja was born on May 2nd 1952 in the south of Holland.
She has been painting since the age of 16. In the '90s she had art classes from a well known Dutch artist Anni van Bokhoven.
She only recently started to expose her art and she already sold a few of her larger paintings in Holland.
Mieja mostly paints abstract works in acrylic on canvas.
