Here, you will find a portfolio of original paintings and illustrations featuring all kinds of sports, both nostalgic and modern.
Football nostalgia is a passion of mine, and through my art I can keep alive the wonderful histories and traditions of the beautiful game.
I like to think that my nostalgic football paintings convey the atmosphere of those bygone days but with an added contemporary twist.
My natural style is what I call naive realism.
My stylised people are not always anatomically accurate and I don't put faces on them. It's just the way I rock and roll!
My art is all about recreating the essence of the subject in a contemporary painterly fashion as opposed to trying to be photo-realistic (that's what cameras are for!).
So, if you're looking for that special gift for a footy or sports fan, you know, something that's a little bit different, but also unique and original, then you’re definitely in the right place!
Of course not everything I paint is sport related. I paint all kinds of subjects such as everyday life, landscapes, seascapes, cars, space & sci-fi, food...anything except portraits and pet portraits in fact!
