INDUSTRY MEETS THE BEAUTY OF CREATION
This collection is a celebration of the most known landmark in Belfast city… Thousands of people have come from all over the world to visit and many have travelled from across towns and villages to work at Belfast Harbour, which was one of the biggest employers in the country.
“Harland & Wolff was founded in 1861 by Sir Edward James Harland and Gustav Wilhelm Wolff. Their heritage includes work on some of the most iconic ships, including the famous RMS Titanic, RMS Olympic and HMHS Britannic, right through to the SS Canberra for P&O and the Myrina tanker – the first supertanker built in the UK.”
